Lenky, Troyton, Timbaland, Dave and Tony Kelly on board for Beenie Man's Back To Basics album
When Beenie Man's forthcoming album Back To Basics is released on July 13, a handful of hit-laden producers will be on board for the ride. Noted hip-hop producer Timbaland, who has worked with big names such as the late Aaliyah, Missy Elliott, Ginuwine and Magoo, will contribute a track.
Stephen 'Lenky' Marsden, whose diwali rhythm rocked the world last year, also made a contribution, while Dave Kelly, who gave Beenie Man his first Billboard chart hit in 1995 with Slam, injects his musical wizardry with Dude, the first single which is already riding several Billboard charts.
The tracks King Of The Dancehall and Two Girls are handled by Dave's brother Tony (Tony is responsible for the production of Sean Paul's Billboard hit Like Glue), while Black Shadow Records' Troyton Rami throws in a muscle on the track Love All Girls (which is currently number two on the New York reggae chart). Rami produced Sean Paul's breakthrough Billboard hit Gimmie The Light.
