Marley brothers will follow up tour with first-time recording By Marilyn Beck and Stacy Jenel Smith Reggae star Ziggy Marley reports plans are in the works "to get all the Marley brothers together" for the first time to record. "We're going to start next year," says the singer/songwriter, whose second solo album, "Love Is My Religion" just hit record stores. The sons of late reggae icon Bob Marley -- Ziggy, Stephen, Julian, Damian and Ky-Mani -- will be touring together for the first time as part of the Bob Marley Roots, Rock, Reggae Festival U.S. tour Aug. 6-27. Ziggy and Stephen are co-headlining the tour that also marks the first time they'll be performing with reggae legend and pioneer Bunny Wailer. Ziggy wrote, played most of the instruments and produced all but three cuts helmed by Grammy-winner Ross Hogarth on "Love Is My Religion." He says the most personal tune on the album is "Keep on Dreamin'," "because it's about my father -- and being in communication with him through dreams." Marley says he's had dreams about his dad often since he passed away in 1981. "It's not like I'm hearing words, but it's as if he teaches me things." And in realizing one of his father's goals -- to put out an album independently that would be affordable to the masses -- Ziggy has entered into a deal with Target stores to sell the CD exclusively for a mere $9.99. On the other hand, Ziggy says not to look for his multi-Grammy-winning group, The Melody Makers -- with Stephen, Cedelia and Sharon Marley -- to reteam anytime soon. www.dailynews.com/celebrities/ci_4020804
