About the House of Reggae
The House of Reggae is a classy live music resto-show-bar and lounge with a beautiful outdoor private terrace that features live bands, acoustic performances, and DJs every weekend from reggae performers and musicians across Canada and USA, and is open from 11am-3am every day of the week (summer hours).
With an eccentric mahogany and live bamboo décor and a variety of Caribbean beverages and dishes, the House of Reggae will surely be unique among Montreal’s vast variety of resto-show-bars and lounges.
With the increasing student population in the downtown area, the HOUSE OF REGGAE also offers FREE WiFi Internet where students can bring their laptop and study over a cup of Jamaica’s famous Blue Mountain coffee or a choice of our many teas, making it the only reggae venue in Montreal of its kind equipped with a Restaurant, Bar, Café, Lounge, Private Terrace, and Live Concerts every day.
You’ve heard of the House of Jazz and the House of Blues and how they succeeded in their respective industries by franchising across North America, signing artists, distributing records, and organizing large live events. With the current increase in popularity of reggae music across the world, it is now time for the House of Reggae to do the same and be THE place in Montreal for Live Reggae Entertainment.
