Mohawk, NY, May 29, 2008 --(PR.com)-- New York’s biggest reggae festival will be held in central New York on Saturday July 26th, 2008 at the Rostropovich Amphitheatre in Gelston Castle Estate.
Reggae festival for climate protection is the biggest party for the environment. Come out and celebrate Mother Earth with great music, food, games and activities.
The festival, an all day event on July 26th, 2008 from 12 pm to 12 am is a fun-filled day of music, games, competitions, cultural activities and international cuisine. Awareness to the environment is the overall theme of the festival and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Alliance for Climate Protection to support their efforts.
Set atop the Mohawk Valley in the Rostropovich Amphitheatre, with the world’s greatest view, performing bands encompassing international artists will span the genre of Roots, Rock, Reggae, Calypso and Soca Music will jam for the environment. The performance lineup includes bands from Central New York, Long Island, New York City and Jamaica.
General Admission to the festival is $20 in advance and $35 at the gate and children under 12 are free. VIP Admission is $150 and includes pre-festival reception dinner on Friday for the Alliance for Climate Protection.
Vendor packages begin at $200 for a basic vending site for full day of operation.
