ICM FEST 2008
The Pre-Thanksgiving Festival is "Back with a Vengence"
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
NEW YORK, NY (RHONA FOX, INC.) - As the premiere international showcase of the top stars from the Caribbean, the International Caribbean Music Festival or ICM Fest returns this year to the delight of fans, and event organizers promise it's "back with a vengeance."
Billed as the "Pre-Thanksgiving Concert," this year's ICM Fest welcomes Caribbean music aficionados to the all-day music festival on Sunday, November 16th at the Virginia Key Beach Park venue in Miami, Florida.
Since its first staging in 1997, ICM Fest has a sound history of featuring all the indigenous sounds emanating from the various Caribbean islands, and the top stars that continue to position Caribbean music on the global forefront. Primarily representing the reggae, soca and reggaeton genres, everyone from Shabba Ranks to Sean Paul has graced its stage, with ICM being Paul's first-ever major U.S. concert.
Promoters vow to make this year's line-up the best one yet, and plan to do so by including fan participation in the artist selection process.
Log on to ICMfest.com to learn more about the event, to view clips from previous shows, and to see just why Miami in November should be your top destination this year.
