300 familys from new orleans on their way to los angeles Body: i'm posting this again.... on sunday i am organizing whoever would like to go there and volunteer for the day. these families arrive tonight. my fiance andreas was there all day today and helped prepare their rooms. in an abandoned hospital. the children will begin school here in l.a. and need school supplies...pencils, paper, crayons, rulers, etc... please help however you can. every little thing will make a difference....here's the info again. contact me if you want to join us on sunday.... Here's a local opportunity to help displaced hurricane victims who have been bused to Los Angeles. The Pastor of the Dream Center ( A massive building just north of the Hollywood Freeway in the Echo Park area) has agreed to shelter 300 families who lost everything for 3-6 months. Click on the hotlink below and you will be taken to the centers home page where you can get more information on what is being done. Scroll down and click on "See our List of Needs." These are all things we either have in our house or could easily pick up on our next shopping trip. If driving to the location is not feasible, you can also make a monetary donation online. Please forward this to other Angelenos and help out any way you can! www.dreamcenter.orgDream Center 2301 Bellvue Los Angeles, 90026 213-273-7000 info@dreamcenter.org
